The most common mistake swim spa owners encounter is using a standard hot tub service provider who is unfamiliar with swim spa-specific systems. Swim jets operate under far greater pressure and flow than standard hot tub jets, and servicing or replacing them incorrectly can lead to leaks, poor performance or premature failure. Swim Spa Services We Provide
- Annual swim spa service — chemical flush, full plumbing and mechanical inspection, jet wash, filter clean, drain, refill and water balance.
- Water changes — recommended every 3–6 months; we include a full bioflush before draining to ensure the plumbing is properly sanitised.
- Winterisation — full shutdown preparation including plumbing, drainage, jet wash and weatherproof wrap
- Reopening and recommissioning — safe recommissioning after winter, including leak check, function test and initial water balance
- Swim jet fault diagnosis and repair — reduced pressure, no flow, strange noises or control issues
- Pump and filtration repairs — circulation pumps, jet pumps and filtration system faults
- Heater faults — heater element, flow switch and thermostat diagnosis and replacement
- Dual-zone servicing — temperature management faults and zone control issues
- Water quality problems — cloudy water, foam, scale, odour and chemical imbalance
- Cover and bar repairs — swim spa covers are larger and more prone to waterlogging; we carry out bar replacements and can advise on full cover replacement
